The video has gained significant traction on Facebook and YouTube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large ext-animate--on\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/dikodingdeception.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Dikoding-Factchecks-4-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-216\" srcset=\"http:\/\/dikodingdeception.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Dikoding-Factchecks-4-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/dikodingdeception.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Dikoding-Factchecks-4-300x300.jpg 300w, http:\/\/dikodingdeception.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Dikoding-Factchecks-4-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/dikodingdeception.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Dikoding-Factchecks-4-768x768.jpg 768w, http:\/\/dikodingdeception.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Dikoding-Factchecks-4-12x12.jpg 12w, http:\/\/dikodingdeception.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Dikoding-Factchecks-4.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading ext-animate--on\"><strong>Verification<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on wp-block-paragraph\">To verify this claim, we analyzed the video published by <em>The Inpirational Ark<\/em>, a page with 113,000 followers on Facebook. At the time of verification, the video had amassed 2.8 million views, 60,900 reactions, 2,600 comments, and 7,900 shares. Additionally, <em>Dikoding Deception<\/em> examined a similar <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=x-_m8fv9y9Y\">video <\/a>uploaded on YouTube by <em>ERIC TV GH<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on wp-block-paragraph\">We further verified the video using Invid &amp; WeVerify tools, google and Yandex reverse image search tool to analyze the kayframes in the video. The construction site seen in the video shows that it&#8217;s in Algeria not Burkina Faso as claimed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading ext-animate--on\"><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on wp-block-paragraph\">The claim that Burkina Faso\u2019s president is overseeing the construction of low-cost housing, as depicted in the viral video, is <strong>false<\/strong>. The footage originates from Algeria, not Burkina Faso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Verdict<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on has-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-4cc0cb32897a5a7fe71e805f84041e18 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#d42525\">False<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A widely circulated video on social media claims that Burkina Faso&#8217;s president is transforming the country with various development projects, including the construction of low-cost houses.
